New SLS Black Series looks fantastic
Chris Harris' led me on a tour of the MBZ SLS "Black Series" display and I must admit, I was mesmerized. I do enjoy the detail Harris goes into here; he channels my inner auto-geek. A Carbon-fiber propshaft, titanium exhaust system, lithium-ion battery and a carbon hood save tons of weight from the original SLS, which sits at a pretty porky 3,600 lbs. The dampers have been replaced with adjusted spring rates for the reduced weight and stiffened for sportiness. Interestingly, an electronic differential has been installed, giving the driver a sense of comfort and control not previously felt in the standard SLS. Read More...
