Hi everyone,

I have a problem with my auto-transmission(4 speed).  The problem is 2 fold. First, I get an awful jerk(kick) whenever the gear shift from 1st to 2nd but shift normally from 2nd onwards.  Sometimes, the gear will not shift back to 1st when the car slows down or stops.  When I put it to nuetral and then engage back to drive, it will go back to 1st again.  I would like to know if anyone has encountered such problem and would appreciate if you can let me know what may be the cause before I put the car in the shop. Thanks.

i had the first problem that u are having ( the jerking )

i think it was a broken seal somewhere that got replaced, that shouldn't cost you much.

however, i have not experienced the second problem .. so good luck with that
