Hi Everyone,
I have an A160 Avantgarde S Reg, and the car hass just recently developed a significant alarm problem. When you unlock the car and open the rear or front doors, the alarm goes off. The alarm then runs through its cycle and then stops. if you sit still in the verhicle then move after the cycle has finished, the alarm goes off again.
The car can be driven, but obvioulsy not with the alarm going off every five minutes.
Does anyone know what this is likley to be. I've been told I can only find out by getting it to mercedes onto their computer, but this is a cost of £99+vat and then the costs for electrics could run into hundreds.
