I have had many different cars in my time but this mercedes is the worst load of junk I have ever bought.
On the forum I see many paint problems and electrical problems and nobody seems to know the answers to a lot of questions, Mercedes used to be a reliable high quality car but those days are gone.
My car has a history of starting problems which meant it had to be towed into a Mercedes stealership but it is still not right,it has had relays replaced,wiring including new earths and a new starter motor.
The car is a 1999 Mercedes C200 Esprit with just 62000 miles on it and in very good condition all round but once again it will not start.
First of all when I started the car it would not pick up the revs.turn off and try again and it would be ok,then the next problem was when I turned the key I just had a continuos clicking sound,now all I have is turn the key and the main engine fan turns on at top speed and thats my lot,the rear electric window is in the down position and won,t go back up and the switch pack that controlls the windows,mirrors etc has packed up.
Because this problem is a main stealer repair job a car with such low mileage is probably ready for the scrap yard as the time comes when you don,t spend £2000.00 plus on such an old car.
So be warned before you buy a Mercedes check this forum and go on the net and look at the reviews it will scare you with all the problems with these cars (IF THAT IS WHAT YOU CAN CALL THEM)
