Post Gear problem! 

HI GUYS. I NEED SOME ADVICE RIGHT HERE. I DRIVE A 2000 SL55 AND MY REVERSE GEAR DOES NOT GIVE AS MUCH POWER AS I EXPECTED TO. OFTEN MY ENGINE JUST TURNS OFF WHEN I DRIVE AT DECLENTION.
WHAT SHOULD I DO?

have you checked the ATF level? if this doesn't help, need a scanner to check the shifting quality on your tranny. could be a broken piston seal. no need to overhaul the tranny. goodluck.
