Post Help, info needed on this car 450 SE 

Hi there, anyone out there able to give me some help, new to Mercedes...I am looking to buy this 1976 450SE, with only 54K miles.  It has been garaged and driven summers.  Always maintained, but is it bad for the car to only have that many miles, only driven summers?   Anyone know this car?  It is like brand new and I really want it, but scared to buy something this old with it being stored.  Thanks
