hello,
I have just purchased C200 last month.
i wanna clean my air filter (a.c. as well as engine).. been a long time since i last did it.. can I dip it in datergent water to clean the spores? will it do gud or just screw up the filter.. or just blow it clean with pressurised air? what will happen if i clean it with water and detergent or some thing similar .. water based..

help greatly appreciated.

first, you cant clean the filter with water, you'll destroy it. pressurized air is enough. second, as for the engine some people use the diesel to clean the engine head to prevent the ignition system from water contamination. a lot of problems arise after cleaning the engine with water. like water ingress on  sparkplugs, ignition coils, ECU, sensors. good luck and have a nice ride.
