Post How to reset the "B" Service indicator on a 2005 C

I have the 2005 C230 Kompressor sedan, and just did the complete service using the oil change directions I found on this site. I now need to reset the "B" Service indicator, does anyone have these directions? Greatly appreciated!!

It was some work to change the oil, all the little bolts and covers that are removed take some time to complete, but I like doing that stuff. It feels good to do it yourself and save a couple of dollars at the same time. This site is great, I learn something every time I log on to read posts.

Thanks in advance!

Jeff L.

For some reason, it didn't work, I had a couple people try it jus tto make sure it wasn't user error, but it didn't reset. What do you think I did wrong?

I get hung up on the reset, when pushing the button on the instrument cluster, it doesn't do anything, pushing it or holding it. I'll have to walk through the steps again tonight so I can give you more detail.
