Post Idleing Problem

hi everyone my CL500 stalls every time I slow down or stopping. if I rev the car driving on the first gear and then put the gear to neutral the idle will drop down to zero and it will stalls sometimes or it would pick up and start riving normal if im standing there is no problem the car just rev fine it only when im driving and want to stop or slowing down by changing gears it would happen between then .sounds very ezy to fix only if I knew how thanks for your help.

no problems on accelerating, right? so, it could not be the MAF. probably a vacuum leak somewhere(fuel injectors, EGR or on the intake manifold) OR a defective fuel system OR idle speed too low.

locate if there is any leaks by checking the vacuum hose or spraying soapy water or oil on the suspected area and observe if the engine rev changes.

goodluck and welcome to M-BenzForum.com Doc. Smile
