Lost all functions in multi instrumen exept temperature

W140 600s -92 After battery change i have no functions in multi instrument exept temperature.
Please Help

you mean everything doesn't work like the odometer, rev counter, etc or you mean just the illumination? you need to check the fuse first if everything doesn't work.

Ilumination works but everything else is not working.(exept temprature)
I have cheked all fuse, they are ok.

you need to remove the cluster and inspect/investigate. maybe there's a loose ribbon connector inside or some electronic devices burnt.

The early 140s had a voltage regulator that went bad resulting in all the indicators coming on and the instruments going to "O" intermittently. I would check your voltages to see if they are low. You could typically duplicate it with the wipers and directional signal being on. I would check the alternator output also.

I just re-read my post, the the voltage regulator is in the cluster, some people have had sucess replacing the eletrolytic capacitor, MB was replacing clusters in the early 90s, the problem seemed to go away with the digital odometer. There are many web postings from rebuilders that discuss this issue.
