sorry for my first answers.

regarding your center vents, it can be opened or closed separately on the left and the right with the adjustment wheels. if these wont work, there's a problem with the center nozzle diverter flap.

about your front footwell air outlet, this can be closed or opened with the push button control module. the flow of the air exiting from the front footwell air outlet on the drivers side can be adjusted manually.

there is what you call the valve block. the switchover valves are integrated into the switchover valve block. various voltage pulses are required in a certain number and sequence to actuate a valve. the voltage pulses came from the AC push button control module.

the electronic circuitry in the switchover valve block recognizes the voltage pulses and actuates the corresponding switchover valves to supply vacuum to the vacuum element in question.

Post Valves galore

Most Climate air controllers can be "tested" by holding the REST button for 3 seconds and letting the unit run its self test. If you get an error code - google the result

Sometimes the "Valves" that control the air baffles get sticky or jammed. Holding the REST and REC buttons puts the air unit into diganostic mode and "exercise" the valves. _ I found this freed up a stick vacuum valve for me
