Post E300 Fuel heater ???? 

I have a 96 E 300 diesel...the MBZ dealer in Nahville, TN  says I have a leak  He calls the problem a faulty " fuel heater" which is a 850 dollar fix...Ialke dto someone and they told me this was a 70 dollar part that would take 30 minutes to install...searching the web I can not even find any reference to this part...who is right???? and what are they talking about....I am A diesel newbie.... argue  argue
