I'm new to the site and looking at the S600...anyone have any goods or bads to share with me??

which bodystyle? W140, W220, or W221.

I will be able to give you great advice on the W140, as I have owned an S600 W140, but I can only offer my opinions and thoughts on the 220 and 221.

I travel 40 miles a day. no problems here. It is fun to drive and it looks great.. my mercedes W140 runs well, handles easily and gives a nice ride.

Awesome. Great Choice. The W140 S600 is a truely superb car. I can strongly say that it was hands down, the best car I have ever owned. I have had 3 W140's so far, and have loved all of them

The S600 is a very well made car. It accelerates amazingly. The fuel economy is not so great, but it is still worth having such a nice car. It is the best car that Mercedes-Benz made in the 1990's. The maintenance can happen frequently, depending on how good of an example of an S600 you have. As long as you have the money to maintain a big V12 Merc, I say, GO FOR IT. Smile
