Post ML 350 2006 Rear SAM 

I am having problems with the REAR SAM on an ML350 USA assembled 2006, delivered 2007 24,000 miles.  Have just been quoted $1,500 Sad  for a replacement by the MB dealer in Harare Zimbabwe. Plus $550 for a replacement MB battery !!!

Does that price sound right to you all out there ? Where can I get an actual part number and maybe order from the USA ?

Any help would be appreciated.
