   new member need help please Hi people Need big time help with my Merc, I had "1 malfunction saying electrical consumers switched off" I don't know what to do. any technical people out there |

Electrical consumers switched off E270 Dont worry yet. when the supply battery drops voltage the car shuts down non-essential electrics (heated seats, int. lights etc.) and displays the consumer shut down message. charge the supply battery (the one in the boot) and see how it goes. If it still happens it may need a software update to the battery control unit or may have a faulty component causing current draw. Either way a trip to the main dealer will be requied if charging the battery fails. |
