Hello All,

     I just purchased a 1990 MB 420 SEL with 41,000 original miles, and well documented books and records.  This car is bone stock original with a working Becker stereo.  Even the antenna woks properly.  Needless to say, this car will live under a car cover in my garage and will only be driven on nice sunny days and special occasions.  I have grown up with and always loved the W126 cars.  My father has a 1987 MB 420 SEL, but it rusted out due to the Michigan winters and would have cost me too much to rebuild.  I purchased the best example I could find and afford.  Hopefully, I can pick your brains for the proper care of this time capsule.

Reinforcer, welcome to M-BenzForum. The W126 cars are very good cars. This is my second, and I have really loved them. Would it be possible to take some pics of your 420 SEL. I have never seen a W126 with such low mileage. Mine has 200,xxx + miles on it. Sad

What color is you're beautiful W126? Smile

The car is Desert Sand Metallic with a Palamino interior.  I'm not that great with computers (confusers) so posting pictures might take a while, with Michigan's current weather it will probably be the next sunny day.
