Garage Cabinets, Garage Storage, and Garage Organization

I have a 300E and the radio is flashing "wait".  I had the radio on for 12 hours but it did not change to "code" for me to enter the code.  How long do I need to leave the radio on ? Also, do I need to leave the engine running until the radio display code or just leave the radio on?  

Any help to fix this problem is greatly appreciated.

I obtained the code from a local MB dealership so I think the code is correct for my radio.

after entering the code incorrectly three times, code entry is inhibited for 15 minutes. BUT after a total of nine incorrect entries the radio is completely blocked. the code can be entered again after waiting 24 hours (radio must be switched off and connected at terminals 15 and 30 in other words no need to remove the radio or the fuse). have patience, you'll get there

codep,as windz said...be patient.....if the radio haven't wake up yet...drive your car to the MB workshop and reactivate it by Star Diagnostic.bless you..not a problem...i faced this many times.
