Post S320 Won't Run

The daughter's S320 stopped accelarating on her way to work. The car would not accelarate above 45 mph. A diagnostic computer indicated that the crankshaft positional sensor needed to be replaced. I have replaced the sensor, yet the car would not start. I need help repairing it. Any ideas or suggections would be appreciated.

Maybe its gone into safe mode ?
Try to unplug the batteri for 15 minutes then plug in again
Sometimes it reset the errorcode. Or check with your local MB dealer

maybe there is no or lack of fuel pressure in the system.

check the fuel pressure.

replace the fuel filter or fuel pump if possible.

pressure must be at least 3.2 bar.
