Post SL500 1992 electronics and hydraulic top issues

Hi Everyone:

I'm impressed by what I've read on this forum site.  I would like to pose a couple of questions regarding my 92 SL500.  The major problem is the hydraulic top system.  A year ago I had one of the pumps rebuilt rather than replace it with the expensive MB part (after already replacing 3 leaking units before that one).  After installing the rebuilt unit about 3 weeks later a "seat belt" alarm and light went off.  The top would not work and hasn't since.  I had to unplug the convertible top control module to disable the alarm.  Is there a setting or sensor that I may have messed up in replacing the rebuilt hydraulic unit?  Thanks for any feedback on this one.

Secondly, the instrument cluster will intermittently flash off with dials reverting to "off" settings while the car is running.  Then they will reboot to normal running settings with no action from me.

Finally, there seems to be a battery drain from somewhere, although I've checked all the lights and switches.  Nothing seems to be "on", but the battery will drain after 5 or 6 days of sitting.  I've had the battery checked and it reads good.

I know this is a mish-mash of problems, but any help anyone can offer is truly appreciated.

Mike
