Post the "low brake" light hasn't come on 

recently i have noticed that my brakes are getting low...but for some reason it seems as though the "low brake" light hasn't come on...im changing them really soon anyways...but how can i check if to see if the light is working without taking the tire off and stuff of that nature?

Hi,
I believe it should illuminate on the start up sequence.

It could also be a bad sensor (gets replaced with the brakes anyway). Mine never lit up for my rear pads because the sensor was knocked loose. You probably need to remove the wheels to check.
